So amazing! I had this implanted three weeks ago. I’m having bpm issues, but am not in actual afib. My watch has told me I’m anywhere from 40-136. I had breathing treatments and dexa shot at ED night before last, and my bpm was down to 70-102. Much better. I’m thinking the surgery caused some inflammation in my throat along with calcifications I have in my thyroid. Seeing ENT soon for that. It’s been an interesting ride, for sure.

Good to hear. This was 7 years ago. I was diagnosed with heart failure in November 2023 and was in hospital here in the UK for five days. I'm 78, male. I had a triple heart bypass in 2013,following a heart attack. Heart disease runs in my family. From November the cardiologist put me on seven medications daily, the key ones being Sacubitril/Valsartan and Dapagliflozin. I also take Bisoprolol, Eplerenone and Furosemide. I have drawn up a chart to keep track of the tablets, but I've established a routine by now. These meds have improved my wellbeing hugely. I haven't stopped eating meat, but now it's largely chicken or turkey. But I do eat a lot of fish, a benefit, I suppose, of living in England where nowhere is farther than 70 miles from the sea (aka ocean in US).

Connecting anything with flu vaccines is a bad idea. Prior to the existence or even concept of a vaccine, 0.03% of the world population died to flue-related conditions. Fast forward to the 21st century, vaccines are widespread and easy to acces, to the point you get paid to get flu shots in many places. You have to actively avoid getting them in many occupations. And with the primary cause of death being secondary infection related to inadequate access to clean water or nutritional food, throughout the history of influenza, we now have such abundant clean water that in half of the world it is free in most public spaces, and is more available in the rest than it ever was in the past. But today, the portion of the world population lost each year to influenza, is the same as it was before vaccines existed. So it isn't exactly a standard of success you want to tie your product to. And there is one key issue with using mRNA to prevent infection by an infective agent. It prevents the body being infected by sufficient of it to develop immunity of its own, so you will always require the vaccine, and will require it constantly. In essence, mRNA makes the entire population life long customers to a product that less than 0.1% actually need.
